Paul. A. Rayko, 38, died near Sage Junction, Wyo., of injuries received in a three-vehicle collision.
He was born April 17, 1945, in Inglewood, Calif., to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rayko.
He graduated from Cheyenne, Wyo., high school and attended the University of Wyoming.
He then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Vietnam conflict.
Following his discharge from military service he attended Idaho State University,
graduating in the electronic program of the ISU Vocational-Technical School.
He was employed in the Communications Department of the Union Pacific Railroad as an electronic technician, traveling in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.
His hobbles were fly fishing, roller skating, and bicyle riding, and he was a coach for the Campfire girls' softball team.
He married Frankie Burgess, Jan. 6, 1973, in Las Vegas, Nev. and is survived by his wife; two daughters, Lisa Rayko and Sarah Rayko; his parents, Lancaster Calif.; a brother, John Rayko, Scott Air Force Base, Ill.; a grandfather, Paul McGinnis, El Cerrito, Calif.; and two nieces.
