Suzanne R. Armstrong, 45, of 4796 Dover St. NE, St. Petersburg, Fla., died at nearby St Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, July 9.
She was born May 22, 1945, in Laramie and was a 1963 graduate of East High School in Cheyenne. She graduated ftom the University of Wyoming with a degree in English. She earned a master's degree in English from the University of South, Carolina and a law degree in 1980 from Mercer University at Macon, Ga.
She joined Stetson University College of Law at Gulfport in 1983 as an assistant professor and named a full professor in 1989. She taught civil procedure and research and writing, primarily for first-year students, and appellate advocacy and moot court.
She was a member of the American Bar Association, American Jurisprudence Society, Florida Assodiation of Women Lawyers and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
She is survived by her husband, Terry L. Hill of St Petersburg; a stepdaughter, Pamela Jean Hill of Sebastian, Fla.; three sisters, Charlene Kruse of Gaithersburg, Md., Betty Lou Farrell of Fort Collins, Colo., and Gail Meyers Flint of Prosser, Wash.; two step-sisters, Connie Garrett of Syracuse, Utah, and Danise Corrigan of Boise, Idaho; and a step-mother, Mickie Armstrong Farr of Harrisville, Utah.
Services were at C.E. Prevatt Funeral Home in St. Petersburg.
