Teddy Ann Merna-Atkinson

Teddy A. Atkinson, 59, of Cheyenne died Aug. 30 at United Medical Center-West.

She was born March 25, 1945, in Cheyenne and had lived here all of her life.

He graduated from Cheyenne's East High and earned his bachelor's degree in business at the University of Wyoming.

Mrs. Atkinson was a bookkeeper at Bob Brunner Motors, Smith Furniture and Underwood Flowers.

She was a member of the Airport Golf Club and Cheyenne Frontier Days Buckle Club.

Mrs. Atkinson is survived by her husband, Thomas "Tom" Atkinson of Cheyenne whom she married in 1963 in California; a son, Lance Atkinson of Cheyenne; a daughter, Traci Redman of Aurora, Colo.; a brother, Bob Merna of Chandler, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death her parents, Arthur and Bertha Merna and two sisters, Judy Tottenhoff and Patricia McIntyre.

Memorial services were held at First Congregational Church with the Rev. J.D. Megason officiating.

Cremation took place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.

Honorary pallbearers were Jan Booth, Lynne Davis, Kathy Cameron, Lala Felton, Nan Brown, Peggy Hearne, and Ann Carver.
